The library (2nd floor) of the Japan–Taiwan Exchange Association Taipei Office holds approximately 25,000 books. In addition to books on politics and economics, society, art, culture, and classical literature relating to Japan and Taiwan, the library has various DVDs (mainly Japanese movies), magazines and newspapers (Asahi/Sankei/Tokyo/Nikkei/Mainichi/Yomiuri), as well as admission guides for Japanese universities and language schools. DVD- and CD-based teaching materials are also available, along with the latest books on Japanese language and Japanese language education.

Applying for a library card
Library cards are issued on the spot free of charge upon display of personal ID or passport.

*Applicants are required to submit information such as their passport number, contact information in Taiwan, and home address. Use of any library card other than your own is forbidden. Please notify the library immediately if you lose your card or if you change address.
Visitors can browse books and reading materials at their leisure in the sofa corner.
