Student（就学）

     If your status of Taiwan ARC is “Studying（就学）,” please submit the following documents.

Sightseeing

１．Visa Application Form
２．One photo; stick it on the application form（2in x 1.4in, taken in the last 6 months, face the camera directly without wearing a hat and must use a plain white background）
３．Passport（the original and 1 copy）
４．Alien Resident Certificate（the original and 1 copy of both sides）
５．Re-entry permit to Taiwan (If your ARC doesn’t have multiple re-entry permit)
６. Certificate of enrollment（original; issued from your school）or student ID (the original and 1 copy of both sides）(if your student ID does not indicate “this certificate can be issued as certificate of student status”, please submit the Certificate of student status from school
７．Bank Account Book（updated in the last 1 month ; the original and 1 copy of the pages which show the holder’s name and the last balance）or Certificate applied from the bank
８．Itinerary in Japan
９．Round-trip flight ticket booking
10．Hotel reservation
※If you participate in a package tour, please provide ①schedule of stay issued by the travel agent, ②flight ticket reservation PNR, ③travel contract with travel agency’s stamp.
※If the reservation was made by other person, please also provide his/her passport copy.
※If you stay at relative or friend’s home, please provide ①invitation letter from relative or friend (stating that he/she understand that you will be staying at his/her home), ②Letter of Guarantee from relative or friend, ③Certificate of Residence（住民票）（the original from relative or friend in Japan; issued within 3 months）and a copy of residence card from your relative or friend (foreigners only).

Attending conference

Visiting acquaintance

２．Certificate of Residence（住民票）（the original from your acquaintance in Japan; issued within 3 months）and a copy of residence card from your acquaintance(foreigners only)
３．Copy of passport from your acquaintance (photo page)
４．Letter of reason for invitation from Japan
５．Letter of Guarantee from Japan

※Please print all the documents on A4-size papers. Please do not staple any document.
※Visa applicants may need to submit additional documents upon request.
※In accordance with regulations,　it is necessary to confirm that the applicant is residing in Taiwan at the time of application or receipt. If you wish to apply and receive the application by representative, the following documents are required in addition to the above.
1. Letter of Attorney (written by applicant)
2. Representative’s ID card (the original and 1 copy)
3. Certificate of Entry and Exit Dates issued by National Immigration Agency, Ministry of the Interior
