On November 15-17, the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association co-hosted a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop with the theme of “Human Rights in the Digital Age” with the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the Taiwan Ministry of Digital Affairs, the National Human Rights Commission, the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), the Australian Office Taipei, the Canadian Trade Office Taipei.
At this workshop, Sakade Takeshi, Professor, Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University gave a presentation on “Variety of Digital Democracy” as Japanese speakers. Experts from Taiwan, the U.S., Australia and Canada also shared their expertise and experience.
The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association will continue to cooperate with the GCTF for its further development.
