On January 21-23, the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association co-hosted a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop titled “Combating New Psychoactive Substances and Tracing Illicit Financial Flows” in collaboration with Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau, the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), the Australian Office, and the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei.
At this workshop, officials from Japan’s National Police Agency, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and Ministry of Finance, presented on measures on combat new drug-related crimes, international cooperation, and illicit financial flows. Additionally, experts from Taiwan, the US, Australia, and Canada shared their expertise and experiences.
The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association will continue to support the GCTF in its further development.
