On September 9-11, the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association co-hosted a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop titled “Building Resilient Democracies: The Role of Media Literacy in Defending the Information Space” in collaboration with Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radio Taiwan International, the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), the Australian Office, and the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei.
At this workshop, Yuki Kawabe, Developer of Code for Japan presented on knowledge and initiatives for countering disinformation. Additionally, experts from Taiwan, the US, Australia, Canada, and other countries shared their expertise and experiences.
The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association will continue to support the GCTF in its further development.
