On January 21-23, the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association co-hosted a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop titled “Enhancing the Resilience of Communication Infrastructure” in collaboration with Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Digital Affairs, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), the Australian Office, the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei and British Office Taipei.
At this workshop, Tadao Yanase, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone, Masahiro Inoue, General Manager of NTN Design Office, Network Service Dept., NTT DOCOMO,INC., and Motohiro Tsuchiya, Professor of Keio University presented on knowledge and initiatives for strengthening the resilience of communication infrastructure. Additionally, experts from Taiwan, the US, Australia, Canada and the UK shared their expertise and experiences.
The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association will continue to support the GCTF in its further development.
