On June 23 - 25, the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association co-hosted a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop titled “Building Resilient Democracies: Responding to Transnational Repression” in collaboration with Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei, the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), the Australian Office and British Office Taipei.
At this workshop, President Lai Ching-Te delivered opening remarks, after which experts from Japan, Taiwan, Canada, the US, Australia and the UK shared their expertise and experiences.
The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association will continue to support the GCTF in its further development.
