This Page is for Passport Holders of the Following Countries:

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Georgia

If you hold a Taiwan ARC (Alien Resident Certificate) and the status of your Taiwan ARC is "Dependent 依親," please submit the following documents for your application.

Required documents

The purpose of your visit is ...

〔Sightseeing〕,〔Visiting relatives〕or〔Visiting acquaintances〕and your Taiwanese spouse WILL accompany.

1. Two Visa Application Forms (Please sign the same signature as shown in your passport.)
2. Two passport-style photographs taken within the last 6 months, with a white background (showing full face, no hat; head length 3.2-3.6 cm), affixed to the application form.
3. Passport (the original and 1 copy of the photo page)
4. A Certificate of Entry and Exit Dates issued by the National Immigration Agency, R.O.C (Taiwan) within the past 10 days.
5. Alien Resident Certificate (the original and 1 copy of both sides, valid for at least a month)
6. Re-entry permit to Taiwan (the original and 1 copy; no need to submit it if your ARC shows "Multiple re-entry permit")
7. Account Balance Certificate (issued within 1 month and issued by bank) or Bank Passbook (updated in the last 1 month ; the original and 1 copy of the pages which show the holder’s name and the last balance)
8. Unabridged Household Registration Transcript (the original; issued within 3 months)
*In Chinese, it's called 台灣配偶之戶籍謄本3個月內正本(完整記事)
9. Your spouse’s Passport (the original and 1 copy of the photo page)
10. Schedule of staying (Be sure to mention the date of arrival and departure and the plan for each day, write the place of stay in detail (in case of a hotel: its name, address and the phone number).)
11. Round-trip flight ticket booking of the applicant and his/her spouse
※ If you are joining a tour group, please additionally provide the following documents as replacement of your personal schedule of staying:
① The travel agency's itinerary
② Standard overseas travel contract (定型化契約書) or Group member list with the travel agency's official stamp.
※ If you will be staying at the residence of a relative or an acquaintance, please additionally provide the following documents:
① Certificate of Residence (the original from your relatives/acquaintance in Japan; issued within 3 months)
※ Japanese: 在日親族(日本国籍・外国籍共に)の住民票原本(発行後3か月以内のもの)
② Letter of reason for invitation from Japan

2. Statement from your spouse indicating the reasons why he/she will not accompany

2. Your spouse’s Alien Resident Certificate(the original and 1 copy of both sides)
3. Certificate of relationship(e.g., marriage certificate, etc.)

Notices

*Please print all the documents on A4-size papers and do not staple the documents.
*Visa applicants may need to submit additional documents upon request.
*Do not use pencils or erasable pens to fill out.
*In accordance with regulations, it is necessary to confirm that the applicant is residing in Taiwan at the time of application or receipt. If you wish to apply and receive the application by representative, the following documents are required in addition to the above.
 1. Taipei Office’s Prescribed Authorization Form (completed by the applicant)
 2. Representative’s ID card

The office is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Taiwanese and some Japanese holidays (2026).

If your ARC shows that your residence address is located in(Yunlin County, Chiayi County, Chiayi City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Taitung County or Penghu County), please apply at Kaohsiung Office.
