On September 20th-23rd , the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association co-hosted a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop with the theme of “International Humanitarian Rescue” with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Taiwan), National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior (Taiwan), the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), the Australian Office Taipei.
At this workshop, Yoshihisa Kasuya, Deputy Director General, Secretariat of Japan Disaster Relief Team (JDR), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan, gave a presentation on JICA's activities in International Humanitarian Rescue, and experts from Taiwan, the U.S., and Australia shared their expertise and experience.
The Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association will continue to cooperate with the GCTF for its further development.
